  1. What is AC Cool Divers Diving Center?
    AC [=manager name initials] Cool Divers Diving Center is a certified diving club located in Latchi-Polis, Paphos, Cyprus. Our aim is to provide safe and enjoyable outdoor activities such as diving, snorkeling, and kayaking for all ages and abilities.
  2. Can I explore the coast by kayak?
    Yes! Cool Divers invites you to explore the coastline of Pomos area or Akamas Peninsula while riding the waves under the guidance of our supervisor.
  3. Booking a Diving course or Kayak:
    Step 1:
    Make the request via web form on our website on the course/kayak webpage
    Step 2:
    Confirm Availability with the desired date requested
    Step 3:
    After confirmed exist Availability for the desired date, you pay only Front 30% or Full amount 100% from the same webpage you have made the request.
  4. What do I need to start scuba diving?
    Virtually anyone in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a Scuba Diving certification in as little as 2 days. We also offer a Junior Diver program for ages 10 to 14.
    Medical Conditions and Diving:
    If you have pre-existing medical conditions, you can still dive with your doctor’s clearance. Most conditions allow for safe diving, but there are exceptions (e.g., epilepsy, burst lung, serious heart conditions). Pregnancy prohibits diving for safety reasons. Contact us for the medical questionnaire. Scuba Diver Course vs. Open Water Course:
    The Scuba Diver course takes 1.5 days and allows diving to 12m with a PADI Professional.
    The Open Water course takes 3 days and allows diving to 18m worldwide.
    Payment Options:
    Pay online via our website (PayPal or credit card).
    Pay in person at our dive center (cash or card, except American Express).

    Interested in local dives or day trips?
    We dive all the best locations on the island, including the famous Zenobia wreck. Our staff is knowledgeable about the sea area, currents, thermoclines, and marine life.
  6. What safety measures are in place?
    We maintain small diving groups (maximum four persons) for maximum supervision.
    Our equipment (diving, snorkelling, and kayaking) is brand new.
    Qualified Divers:
    Our staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
    Emergency oxygen and first aid kits are available on every excursion.

    Start your DSD program or course in your own pool without extra charges.

CANCELLATION POLICY

At AC Cool Divers Diving Center, we prioritize safety and flexibility. Please take note of the following cancellation policy:

  1. Dive Site Changes:
    The Center reserves the right to modify dive sites without prior notice due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or suitability on the day.
  2. Dive Confirmation:
    Once the vessel departs from port, the dive is considered underway unless the skipper deems it unsafe. Any missed dives once onboard will not be refunded.
  3. Medical Fitness:
    All divers must be medically fit to dive. If there are any doubts, a “yes” on the medical form requires GP approval. Honesty in your medical declaration is crucial.
  4. Diving Insurance:
    We highly recommend that all divers obtain diving insurance to cover hyperbaric treatment if needed. Our insurance provides third-party liability coverage but does not include individual diver treatments or accident cover.
  5. Recent Diving Experience:
    Divers must have dived within the last 12 months to book a boat/shore dive or day trip. If it has been longer, a refresher will be necessary before booking. Failure to comply may result in booking rejection.
  6. Punctuality:
    Divers are responsible for arriving on time at the dive center. Late arrivals will not delay the activity, and no refunds will be offered.
  7. Course and Activity Fees:
    Fees cannot be refunded if a program is not completed due to the participant’s decision.
  8. Booking and Cancellation:
    Full payment is required to secure your booking.
    Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
    Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows will be charged in full.
